Announcement from the Superintendent:

Dear Parent/Guardian:

As we all know, this has been a very snowy and stormy winter!

Due to the inclement weather on Tuesday, March 14th, it was necessary to cancel school.  Given the amount of snow days we have had this year, before the 14th, we were up to 6 snow days and our last day was to be Thursday, June 22, 2017.  In order not to have to bring students back for an additional day, it was decided to cancel the Union #28 full day professional development day on May 5th. Therefore, Friday, May 5, 2017 will be a regular school day.

Thank you,

Superintendent Jennifer J Haggerty

***MOOSE INTERVIEW OF THE WEEK***

Zach from 4th Grade!
ZS

JCB:  What is your favorite thing to do at school?
ZS:  I guess go outside for recess.  Probably mostly everybody’s favorite!

JCB:  What do you like to do when you’re at home?
ZS:  If I’m at home and there is no snow I go on my swing.  But if there is snow I stay inside and play video games all day.

JCB:  What is your favorite video game?
ZS:  That is a hard question.  Hmmm….  I have about a billion.  Gmod!

JCB:  What book are you reading right now?
ZS:  “The Hundred Most Invincible Creatures on the Earth.”

JCB:  If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?
ZS:  Tell everybody to calm down and then try to build a rocket to Jupiter!

JCB:  What would you like to be when you grow up?  I know you really like history.  Would you want to do something with that?
ZS:  A reenactor, I guess?  Probably 1910’s-ish.

JCB:  What type of character would you want to be?
ZS:  A soldier in a tank.  There was one tank that was very powerful.  It’s called the Shar-2C.  It was very powerful and it was 10 feet tall!  And it weighed over a million tons.  It was probably a giant tank that could destroy anything in its path.
