NO SCHOOL – Curriculum Day
|
Dear Moose,
This week we bid farewell to September, and welcome October. As an avid Anne of Green Gables fan, I always think of a quotation by Anne when October comes: "I'm so glad that we live in a world where there are Octobers." I certainly share Anne's sentiment.
There have been several parents and guardians that have signed up to volunteer for help during lunch and recess! This is wonderful and a true help. If you are interested, please let me know. You do need a CORI check as well.
Looking ahead in October we have several events to be aware of:
- Safety Committee meeting October 3rd
- PTO meeting on October 6th
- No school on October 10th (Columbus Day)
- School Council Meeting on October 11th
- Picture Day on October 19th
- No school for students on October 21st (Curriculum Day)
- Conferences October 26 &27th and November 1st and 2nd
Wishing you a great weekend,
Jackie
